I’m typically a peach girl but this year I have been tempted by its half naked cousin the nectarine. My local farmers market has the sweetest nectarines and I’ve polished off a bushel since I discovered them 2 weeks ago. I bought my weekly quart of cream and then I broke my darling french press. This means no coffee for me until I get a new one and a ton of cream wasting away in the fridge. Then inspiration struck and I decided to create something tempting and whipped up Nectarines and Cream with a twist. I added cardamon and it is so good I can not wait to try it in coffee.
- Throw all the ingredients in a sauce pan over low heat and warm. This took roughly 4 minutes.
- Drizzle over nectarines.
