Ok, while I may enjoy my carnivore tendencies on the Paleo diet, now and then, I enjoy a vegetarian meal. I was a vegetarian for 9 years and while the diet did not work for me, I still enjoy a mountain of veggies with lots of butter.

Also, I think people get the misconception that you have to eat tons of meat on the diet. One of my favorite paleo books “Primal Mind, Primal Body” recommends only 6 ounces of natural protein a day. That’s not very much – it’s about the size of a deck of cards.  There are also Paleo Vegetarians which is rather interesting. Anyhow here are seven tasty Paleo Vegetarian meal ideas.

    I’m following the Ultimate Reset and I’m currently on a Vegan Phase I have to say I’m not all too found of it. I don’t mind vegetables but sometimes it is too much.

      I don’t know any Paleo Vegetarians but I’m assuming they would have to eat eggs and dairy.

    The paleo diet is something I’ve never even considered since I thought it would be impossible to do vegetarian. The soup really does sound awesome!

    Wow you were a vegetarian for seven years then decided it wasn’t for you, crazy 🙂 I like my meat to much but eat pretty vegetarian I would say during the day. All those recipes sound delish!

    I was a vegetarian for years and I still do a lot of vegetarian dishes–veggies are totally paleo! No longer fully veg, however.
