I am so excited to introduce you to my cookbook, Paleo Eats.

For me, starting at the age of 11 and at my mother’s side, cooking became more about comfort, family, and yummy-yummy deliciousness than properly or healthily fueling my body. From garlic-fried rice to chocolate chip cookies, food brought us together, sparked conversations, and almost served as a beloved family member.

When my doctor diagnosed me as pre-diabetic, I broke down at the vision of a future filled with doctor’s visits and needles, and began mourning the loss of foods that, quite simply, made me feel loved and supported. I couldn’t imagine my son growing up without treats like ice cream and fluffy bread, either.

That’s when I turned to a Paleo-diet, also known as a gluten-free, grain-free diet. To my joy, not only did I lose 65 pounds and recover my health but I also began rediscovering food. My mother’s cooking lessons motivated me to stretch and transform recipes, allowing me to retain my beloved comfort food.

Join me on this food journey to bring happy food— that is good for you as well – to the table.  My book reflects comments and input from readers of my blog “A Girl Worth Saving” and pays homage to all of the comfort food recipes you thought were out of reach when you went Paleo.

“This was one of the most amazing things I have ever made. My husband and children could not get enough of it. In fact, I doubled the recipe and there really wasn’t a whole lot left over (I do have two growing boys who can eat quite a lot). 🙂 I don’t usually even like meatballs and I loved it!! Great job! This one is a keeper. Can’t wait until the cookbook comes out so I can try more!” ~ Tayna

“This was amazing!!! A great side dish to go with any meal! My 2 year old even ate it!” ~Amy

” YUM! Even my coconut-hating 12-year-old gave it two thumbs up!” ~Joanne

“Cucumber salad was AMAZING. Nobody knew it was so healthy they thought I used OTC ranch. HAHA!”  ~ Sharonpaleo recipe cookbook

I put my heart in this book, and I hope you’ll pre-order your copy right now.  It comes out November 18th just time to make your family a complete Thanksgiving Dinner with the recipes in this book.

OMG. OMG. OMG. I have been *waiting* for this day. I LOOO-VE the way you make food. Especially the fact that you will often use coconut flour over almond flour (allergies) in baked goods; and that you offer real food dishes rather than fancy party or dessert food; and specifically, the fact that you seem to understand the taste profile of kids (maybe unintentionally). My kids are happy campers at our dinner table and we owe lots of thanks to you. Congrats on your new “baby”! My pre-order is placed.
