I admit it.  There are times where I am just lazy. I don’t want to cook and I force my family to eat plain hot dogs and homemade coleslaw for days (seriously, Mr. Bejelly will confirm this).   Yeah, it’s not always fun paleo meals in the Bejelly household but this does tend to change during the fall/winter.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve taken comfort in the warmth of my oven and look forward to the rich smells of baked chicken, pies and roasts.  However, I still have my lazy moments and when I had one today, I decided to combine two of my favorite things – Chai Kombucha and Vanilla Coconut Ice Cream.  This recipe so is so stinking close to a Paleo root beer float that I was half tempted to call it that.

Yes, everything in this recipe is store bought but, you can make it from scratch if you are so inclined.

Chai Kombucha Floats

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 2 minutes
Total Time: 7 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of Chai Kombucha. I love this brand. or make your own and flavor with this on the second ferment.
  • 1 container of vanilla coconut ice cream or make your own

Instructions

  1. Scoop vanilla ice cream in a small glass and top with Chai kombucha
