Don’t Overpush

The biggest and most common mistake that people make here is that they try to do too much too soon. If you create a fitness regime for yourself in which you try to just do everything, you are not going to end up doing anything at all. That is obviously far from ideal, so make a point of not over pushing yourself when you are drawing up your regime or schedule. You might even want to allow some flexibility, so you can have an ideal schedule and a bare minimum one, and try to work somewhere in there. As long as you are then at least at the minimum, you will know that you are doing what you need to in order to really get fit faster, and that will help to spur you on even further.

Write It Down Clearly

You need to make it so that you have no excuse whatsoever to deviate from the path you have set yourself. That means that you are going to need to be clear about it, which is something which you can make much easier simply by ensuring that you write it down clearly. Most people find the best way to do that is to use your computer and set out a spreadsheet detailing everything that you can plan to do. That should be a great way to make your regime clear and be strict with yourself about it.

Although it is often hard to stick to a regime of any kind, you will find it a whole lot easier if you make sure that you enjoy it as much as possible. As long as you are enjoying it, there is no reason that you will not end up doing it right, even if you slip up once or twice along the way. So make sure that you are trying to enjoy it as much as you possibly can.
