Chocolate Covered Cookie Dough Hearts

Ingredients

Cookie Dough:

Coating:

  • 1/3 cup chopped dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

Instructions

Cookie Dough:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the coconut butter, coconut oil, stevia or honey, and vanilla and mix well.
  2. Add almond flour and chocolate and mix well.
  3. Form into a log. Use a knife to cut a notch lengthwise down one side of the log, and carefully mold the opposite side into a point. Freeze until set.
  4. Cut like an icebox cookie log; you should have slices of cookie dough that look like hearts.
  5. Freeze the hearts while you prepare the coating.

Coating:

  1. Over low heat, melt the chocolate and coconut oil.
  2. Coat the cookie dough hearts in chocolate and freeze until set.
  3. Store in an airtight container the fridge.
