This cowboy burger is made with ground beef, bacon, onion, BBQ sauce, and cheddar cheese, and it's perfect for a summer cookout or a casual dinner party.
Place the bacon in your food processor and process until you have a rough crumble. Scoop this into a bowl with the rest of the ingredients.
With your hands mix the ingredients together until well combined and form into 4 large patties, roughly 4” x ½” thick. Set aside. Place a skillet over medium high heat and add the burgers.
Cook for until browned on one side, roughly 5 minutes and flip and repeat. Serve on lettuce leaves with condiments of choice.
