Paleo Chocolate Cake

Superfine Blanched Almond Flour

cup
cocao powder
1/2
teaspoon
sea salt
1/2
teaspoon
baking soda
1/2

coconut oil
1/4
cup
water
1/4
cup
B grade maple syrup
2
large eggs

teaspoon
pure vanilla extract
Frosting
2
cups
palm Shortening
1/2
cup
B grade maple syrup
1/4
cup
Cacoa powder
2
teaspoons
pure vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease two
6" baking pans
and set aside.
In a medium bowl add the ingredients and mix with a spoon until completely combined.
Pour the batter in to the 6" baking pans and place in oven.
Let cook for 15 to 18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let cool.
In mixing bowl add in the ingredients for the frosting and mix with a hand mixer.
Let the cakes cool completely and then frost. Enjoy!
