This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Vitamin Angels Give Childhood for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Every day The Little and I have our supplement ritual. I take my assortment of vitamins and so does he. We’ve dubbed them brain juice (Omega 3s) and Heart (his mutlivitamin). He also gets a Greens boast but he doesn’t know it as it comes in the form of a delicious Healthy Chocolate smoothie – see recipe at the end.
The Little is active and I mean I don’t think he sits still for more than 5 minutes. He loves riding his balance bike and playing on the gym at the park. Of course, the few times he’s been sick, it’s been even harder for him to deal with the fact that he can not play and has to stay inside with Mom.
While access to supplements and vitamins are only a moment away, there are children around the world who do not have access to lifesaving vitmains. As a mother, I fully support the organization Vitamin Angels. Simply by visiting Vitamin Angels Give Childhood to make a donation that will help deliver essential vitamins and minerals to at risk children in need
From December 2nd – 31st, Vitamin Angels is raising funds for the Give Childhood Fund. Give Childhood back to children in need for as little as .25 cent, which by the way is about an eighth of the cost of your daily latte. This seemly small amount will give one child the vitamins s/he needs for one year. Your support today will give the gift of childhood to those in need worldwide so please donate now
Healthy Chocolate Smoothie
1 medium ripe banana
1 cup of raw milk
1 tsp Greens powder
1 tbsp Raw Cacao
Throw all the ingredients in blender and mix until smooth. Enjoy!
Wow Kelly! You found a great way to disguise the greens! I don’t mind the color, so I drink a similar one every morning without the cacao powder. But since cacao in of itself is so nutrient rich, I’ll have to give your version a try!
