Your Kitchen

The space you have to cook in is essential to your enjoyment. If your kitchen is cluttered, dirty, and messy, and everything is broken or doesn’t work properly, then you are not going to want to be in there, are you? So, you need to give your kitchen a little TLC. If you have the budget and you are serious about cooking more, then why not go for a brand-new kitchen? If not, then you need to make small changes, like upgrading the faucets, fixing things, and giving it a good declutter. A minimalist kitchen is a far simpler place to cook in, for example. The more pleasant and environment, the more likely you are to want to spend time there.

Get Spicy

They say variety is the spice of life, but actually, spice is the spice of life, so why not start getting spicy? There are so many spices and herbs out there, and all offer you a wide range of flavors. You should try mixing your own spices and finding out how hot you can take things and what compliments what. Experiment

Experimenting with spice is one thing, but there is a whole world of food things you can experiment with. It may be a good idea to go to the supermarket the next time you go, to go with the intention of picking up strange and exotic foods you have never used before. One of the best places for this is down the fruit and vegetable aisle. There is always a vegetable that you always walk past; well don’t walk past it. Pick it up and learn how you use it. Maybe get the children to choose some for you too. Find recipes that use the vegetables you have chosen and try out something new and healthy. The more experimental you can be, the more you will enjoy the process of cooking.
