I’m pretty sure that Mr. Bejelly and The Little have issues with Tapioca flour and this kinda kills the ability for us to enjoy pizza.

I almost had a pity party about it and then I remembered, hey, I can come up with something as a replacement.

Ok, I put some cheese on top which is totally optional if you tolerate dairy.  If you skip the cheese on top, the soup is 100% dairy-free.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 cup mushrooms chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper seeded and chopped
  • 1/2 small onion diced
  • 1 garlic cloves
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cup broth
  • 1 Teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 Teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a large stock pot warm the coconut oil over medium high heat. Add in the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent roughly 4 minutes.Add in the ground beef and cook for 6 minutes or until the beef is no longer pink, breaking up the beef into crumblesAdd in the rest of the ingredients and then stir with a spoon until well blended. Cover with a lid and cook for 20 minutes. Optional: Serve topped with cheese
