The most important and basic way to stay in good physical health as you age is to stay physically active. Whether you do some routine exercises at home or sign up for a gym membership so you can run on one of the top treadmills, it’s important to stay active. 

This will keep your joints limber and also help you to get better sleep at the end of the day, especially if you have some cardio. It’s advisable for older adults with less than average mobility to perform physical activity on three or more days a week as it will help them enhance their balance and prevent accidental falls. Take Care of Your Skin

Your skin is your body’s largest organ and so it does a lot for you. Take care of it both from within and topically by staying hydrated and applying moisturizing oils. The food on your plate should reflect your healthy choices, so make an effort to eat a balanced and nutritious diet. If you can, cook more so that you can choose exactly what goes into your food. Cut out empty calories and excessive sugar and salt so that you get a clean meal that will leave you feeling fuller for longer and that won’t work against your digestion, which slows down as you age.
