I don’t even want to think about what my blood sugar levels where when I was kid on Halloween day. My parents weren’t the kind that allocated candy. I got to eat as much as I wanted when I wanted. I had a system. First, I ate the chocolate bars. Next anything but the candy corn and tootsie rolls. Finally the candy corn and tootsie rolls. I’m pretty sure I had everything consumed within 3 days. For the last couple of years, I haven’t done candy, well, maybe a bit of 85% dark chocolate, on Halloween but with my kiddo I would like a small treat for the day. Ok, do not think I am suggesting you eat every candy this week. Make one and come back when you want more inspiration and make another.
Paleo Halloween Candy
Monday – Pumpkin Butter Cups |
Tuesday – Dark Chocolate Bark with Ginger, Pumpkin Seeds and Apricot |
Wednesday –Almond Bark of Joy |
Thursday – Pumpkin Pie Meringue Candy |
Friday – Coffee Macadamia Nut Toffee |
Saturday –Paleo Toffee Caramels |
Sunday – Honey Caramel Pecan Candy |
Ha ha! I’ll remember to not to make them all at once.
Yeah as much as I love Halloween I also hate it, always fighting about the candy. This looks yummy!
Thank you Kelly for the link 🙂 I’m in the process of completing a cookbook of paleo treats:)
You’re welcome and I can’t wait to check out your new book!
Pumpkin butter cups sound good! I try to stay away from the kids candy!
Bet the honey pecan popcorn is heavenly!
Mmmm toffee – I love making homemade toffee candy!
Oh that looks YUMMY
Awesome! These are some great recipes and just in time for Halloween!
The Coffee Macadamia Nut Toffee sounds so good!
these are great options.
That looks really good right now.
These sound great. I’m a sucker for toffee. This is the first year my daughter will realize that people are hurling candy at her. I’m going to hide some of it.
Pumpkin Pie Meringue? YUM!
This looks yummy!
I was the opposite–I would eat the things I hated first and save the best for last. 🙂 But I think mine would usually be polished off within 3 days too! I’ve made something like the pumpkin butter cups and I can attest to the fact that they are GOOD.
