Happy Halloween! Tomorrow I begin the 21 Day Sugar Detox with my friend Kim from What’s that Smell. Right now I’m excited and I know that this will be a good way to kick start some more fitness and health in my life.
I know that a lot of the reason that I’m still a size 14/16 is because I have not made fitness a priority. I’m old enough now to realize that and I won’t lie, it will be hard to cut back on the amount of treats that I cook up for my site or at least moderate how much of them end up in my mouth.
My goal in this detox is to finish without cheating! Yes, that’s my number 1 goal. My second goal is to lose some inches and work towards my goal pants.
Anyhow, I’ll also be sharing my journey on the 21DSD journey on my Youtube channel so subscribe and see how it’s going. Also, don’t forget to check out how Kim is tackling her detox.

I was sent a copy of the 21 Day Sugar Detox and right off the bat, I was surprised that there were levels to the program. Say what? You can eat grains on the first level.
I plan on making them throughout the 21 days to help fight off those sugar cravings.
I’d love to have you join in on this journey!
I can’t wait to see how the detox goes for you! I think having treats now and then (like these!) definitely helps. 🙂
Can’t wait to see your progress. Sugar is so hard to give up!
hahaha I said I was gonna make those first after I looked through the recipes.
Ha! I know! I looked at the smoothie and this and was like, Lemon Vanilla Meltaways it is 🙂
You can do it! Set a mini-goal of making it through the first week … if you can do that, the rest of the time is a BREEZE.
Thanks Rachel 🙂 I just woke up so not much of a struggle yet 🙂
I am curious to see how this works out for you. I need to do a sugar detox myself.
Good luck on your detox. Sending good vibes.
ohhh I have a sweet tooth and I can’t wait to read how you survive this!
Good luck! I definitely could not go through a sugar detox. I would probably die, lol
Sugar detox? That is like a foreign concept to me which I guess means that I probably need one.
I have been hearing a lot about this book. I seriously need to check it out!
I can’t wait to hear how the detox goes. 21 days, and I am thinking of all I would have to give up and saying no way. I guess we can tell I need it too!
I would love to hear how this goes for you. It is definitely something that would be healthy for so many reasons and probably boost your immune system as well. If I could eat those meltaways, it would definitely help! I love coconut and they look delicious. I’m wishing you lots of good luck for your detox!
I should join you, but I am a chicken, It is hard to be svelte when you write about food.
You can do it! Trust me, even if you do break it at this point, you’ll be miserable – headaches, sluggish etc., you’ve got this!

Ooo, that sounds like a killer combination!
Lol, I’ve made it twice already!
