Chicken Teriyaki is a delicious recipe that frequently appears on Japanese and Hawaiian restaurant menus. And while it’s considered both of these countries’ national dishes, it can be one of the simplest recipes to cook at home.⁣

Grilled Chicken teriyaki

This Chicken Teriyaki recipe is a little different for me as it requires marinating the ingredients.

I don’t normally do this because I often forget to plan ahead but you only have to marinate for 20 minutes.

What is the paleo Diet?

The paleo diet is a dietary plan that includes only foods that were available for human consumption before the advent of agriculture.

Paleo diet is good for people who want to lose weight, improve their health and live longer. It can also help control diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and autoimmune diseases.

What is Teriyaki Sauce?

Teriyaki sauce is a popular Japanese sauce that is made from soy sauce, sugar, and either ginger or garlic.

Teriyaki sauce is originally from Japan and has been around since the 1800s. It’s made of three ingredients: soy sauce, sugar, and either ginger or garlic. The word “teriyaki” means “glossy grilled.”

The first time teriyaki was used in America was in the 1950s when Japanese restaurants were popping up all over California.

How to Make Paleo Chicken Teriyaki

This recipe is a healthy and delicious way to make paleo chicken teriyaki. It’s gluten-free, dairy-free, and has no added sugar.

The ingredients are simple – chicken breasts, low sodium soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic powder and sesame oil. The steps are easy too – just marinate the chicken in soy sauce and honey for 20 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients. Then cook the chicken on a skillet with minced garlic, ginger and sesame oil.

Once the chicken is cooked through (about 10 minutes), add in some more soy sauce to taste along with some garlic powder or chili flakes if you want more of a kick!

Lastly, serve it over rice or cauliflower rice for a healthier option!
