There are only a few things more important to one’s quality of life than breathing clean air, clean water being on par with this. So, if you live in an area with high pollutants or low air quality, you may be considering investing in an air purifier.
If you don’t know what these are, air purifiers are devices that improve the quality of air for better allergy control, sleep, and breathing. And since indoor air can carry all sorts of undesired air pollutants, filtering these out with an air purifier can significantly improve its breathability.

Dimensions and Design
The Hathaspace Smart True HEPA air purifier comes at the height of 20 inches, the width of 13 inches, and the depth of 7 inches. Moreover, the machine weighs roughly 12 pounds. With numbers as such, this air purifier is considered to be smaller than the average console air purifier.
As for the design, Hathaspace went for a basic, minimalistic design with this one. In addition, the purifier has a colorful LED display screen that shows the device’s status and information as well as real-time air quality level feedback. Other information includes anion, timer, fan speed, light, and sleep. And below that screen are two lines of buttons used for settings and navigation.
700 Squared Feet Coverage
Hathaspace’s HSP001 air purifier can cover an area of up to 700 square feet, with a 100% per hour filtration rate. This means that in a 700 squared feet room, 100% of the air will be completely purified every hour; that is, one Air Changes per Hour (ACH).
Alternatively, we can also say that the HSP001 has a coverage area of 350 square feet when calculated based on two air changes per hour. This means that 100% of the 350 squared feet room air will be purified twice by the Hathaspace air purifier in an hour.
5-in-1 Filter System
Since we’re discussing air purifiers, the filtration system carries a lot of weight. The Hathaspace air purifier comes with a unique 5-in-1 air filter system designed to target dust, pollen, tobacco smoke, pet dander, odors, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and more. The filter consists of a pre-filter followed by an activated carbon filter, an antibacterial filter, a True HEPA filter, and an ionizer.
The washable pre-filter is a cold catalyst that traps pet dander, large dust particles, mold, pollen, and toxic chemicals. Then comes the honeycomb cellular activated-carbon filter. This filter has the ability to painstakingly absorb odors, VOCs, gasses, and smoke. Next, the antibacterial filter targets the bacteria and germs.
Then comes the most important filter in the system: the H11 True HEPA filter. This filter captures 99.9% of smaller particles (0.3 microns). This means that the filter can capture dust mites, pollen, allergens, and most airborne pollutants floating around in the air.
Finally comes the built-in anion ionizer. The role of this ionizer is to release negatively charged ions that get rid of all the odors. So these ions neutralize and eliminate odors, smoke, pet hair, and dust.
Whisper Quiet Operator
The noise levels of the Hathaspace air purifier operator are indeed one of its best qualities and a reason behind its extensive popularity. For example, the air purifier has a noise level of 18 dB on its lowest fan speed setting and 43 dB on its maximum fan speed. With numbers like these, the Hathaspace air purifier is easily one of the quietest air purifiers on the market.
There are three fan speed options on the Hathaspace HSP001 purifier: low, medium, and high. With this device, you have the option to manually control the fan speed or simply put your purifier on Auto Mode for automatic control.
The lowest fan speed produces the least noise levels and vice versa. Luckily, the air purifier holds a whisper-quiet operator that remains relatively quiet at all fan speeds.
Another feature of the true HEPA air purifier is its sleep mode. The device switches to low speed on sleep mode, and all light indicators turn off. And since the device is considered one of the quietest on the market, you don’t need to worry about the noise disrupting your sleep.
Fun fact, you can get the same sleep mode results by switching the fan speed to low and pressing the light button.
If you’re worried about your power consumption with the smart true HEPA air purifier, don’t be. Even better, the HSP001 is actually considered an energy saver. This is because the air purifier runs on 110V AC, with its top power being only 40 W. Put in other words, the air purifier will consume less than 1 kWh per day if operated 24/7 at maximum speed.
In addition, you can always use the purifier’s Auto Mode feature to further optimize your power consumption.
Auto Purifier Mode
When put in auto mode, Hathaspace air purifiers have a smart air sensor that can automatically detect air pollutants and adjust the fan speed accordingly. For example, if you start with low air quality, the machine will automatically run at full speed until the room reaches a good air quality level. Once it’s there, the machine will reduce its speed to maintain that quality.
This optimizes your energy consumption while keeping your manual handling minimal.
Real-Time Air Quality Level Feedback
This smart true HEPA air purifier has a real-time air quality feedback feature. This means that you can tell the exact quality of the indoor air at any given time by looking at the purifier’s LED screen. The quality is measured by three colors: red, yellow, and green. As you may suspect, green means good quality, yellow is moderate, and red is bad.
Clean Air Delivery Rate, or CADR rating, is a metric used to assess air purifiers. In short, it’s a scale from 0 to 450 that measures an air purifier’s effectiveness in filtering out airborne particles like mold spores, dust, and smoke. As the CADR rating increases, so does the effectiveness of your air purifier.
While most air purifiers have a CADR rating of around 200, the HSP001 Hathaspace air purifier comes at 160. Unfortunately, this means that the machine ranks lower than average when it comes to filtration effectiveness.
The Hathaspace air purifier earned the CE mark and the CB and RoHS certifications. Moreover, this device is CARB certified.
The CE certification means the product has successfully met the European Union consumer safety, health, or environmental requirements. And to display the CE mark, a product first needs to fulfill the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) requirements.
A RoHS certificate means that the product restricts the use of some hazardous substances in electrical equipment and electronics.
The CB certificate is also concerned with electrical and electronic products, and it uses similar standards to those used for CE markings.
Finally, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) certificate evaluates the emission control systems of a device.
What’s in the Box?
Once you get your hands on the Hathaspace air purifier unit, you should expect to find five items in the box. First and foremost, you’ll find the smart air purifier accompanied by a True HEPA filter set. Moreover, you’ll see a remote control, a manual, and a 2-year warranty card.
