paleo peppermint white hot chocolate
Yield: 2

Peppermint White Hot Chocolate

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup cocoa butter, or organic white chocolate chips
  • 2 cups coconut milk, you can also use cow's milk too, preferably raw
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or stevia drop to taste
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon peppermint extract
  • Whipped cream or whipped coconut cream, optional

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the cocoa butter or white chocolate over very low heat.
  2. Add the milk and honey and turn the heat up to medium-low. Stir continuously to
  3. combine and keep the milk from burning.
  4. After the mixture has heated up, add the vanilla and peppermint extract. Stir and
  5. remove from heat.
  6. Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream.
  7. Serve immediately.
