I want to lick my screen!! Thanks for the recipe menu.

A friend of ours who is Paleo brought us some delicious ice cream last summer (for my son who is lactose intolerant) it was Coconut Milk and Maple. SO good.

I used to destroy a brand called Coconut Bliss but sadly, too sweet for me know.

Mint Chocolate Chunk sounds yummy! My fave has always been Mint Chip. 🙂

Thanks for including mine, Kelly! I think I’m going to try that Moose Tracks one next, yum!!

You’re welcome! I seriously can’t wait to make this.

I really want the ice cream maker attachment for my Kitchenaid so I can make my own ice cream!

Do you need a separate ice cream maker for gelato? Because I just use my regular one (a Cuisinart). I’m sure it’s not the most authentic, but I still enjoy it. 🙂

    • March 6, 2013 at 10:51 pm

I’m going to try that. I’ve been waiting to save up for one that makes Gelato and that is just not going to happen.

That picture looks soooooo good. I have a little Cuisinart. You freeze the inner bowl and it takes less than an hour – I believe – to make ice cream. It’s not bad. I like that I don’t have salt and all of the other mess from the traditional ice cream makers.

My hubby loves ice cream! He just made himself banana ice cream with only bananas. 🙂

I really love ice cream but have recently been on a frozen Greek yogurt kick which really provides a bit of sweetness with an added protein boost. It’s especially yummy with fresh fruit!

I have a NewAir AIC-210 Ice Cream Maker. It’s big and heavy, but it does such a great job making ice cream. We love homemade ice cream, I try not to make it too often because then I go overboard LOL.

I used to make ice cream at home, and it was YUMMY!, but rather time consuming, and maybe messy, so I stopped.

  • March 5, 2013 at 1:39 pm

I have some store bought paleo ice cream in the fridge made with coconut milk. It’s not my favorite though if I’m being honest!

  • March 7, 2013 at 2:33 am

I’ll have two scoops of chocolate please 🙂

Your recipes look delicious! Iʻve been looking for some non dairy ice cream recipes to try (lactose intolerant, thatʻs me) since I got my hand crank ice cream maker from eBay. I like my Donvier hand crank ice cream maker, itʻs cute and retro, and itʻs portable. Great to bring when driving a couple hours to visit family, or when I have moms only night with my best friend. Iʻve only made one recipe with my ice cream maker so far, and I have the Kitchenaid Stand Mixer ice cream maker attachment on itʻs way to my house. Thereʻs tons of ice cream makers you can buy but I settled for those 2 since they got 4-point-something out of 5 on Amazon 🙂

Thanks for letting me know Stephanie 🙂 I still haven’t bought one but I know that as soon as summer hits, I’ll be craving ice cream again. I’ll check out the Donvier 🙂
